Each Chirp Protect hub generates an invisible radio frequency (RF) perimeter. This "shield" creates a boundary that tagged items interact with. The range of this perimeter is adjustable, allowing you to customise the coverage area to perfectly fit your store layout.
Need coverage for multiple exits, restrooms, or changing rooms? No problem. Simply place a Hub at each location to seamlessly extend the system’s protection area.
We have two Chirp Protect systems.
Chirp Edge - if a tagged item crosses the invisible perimeter created by the Hub, the tag immediately emits a loud, localised alarm, alerting your staff and acting as a powerful deterrent to potential theft. Even if a tagged item is removed from your store, the alarm will continue to sound until it is deactivated.
Chirp Zone - if a tagged item is taken too far away from the Hub (outside the zone) then the tag will alarm. If an alarming tag is returned to the zone then the alarm will automatically stop.
All Chirp Protect tags are tamper-proof, triggering an alarm if anyone attempts to remove a tag without authorisation.

Yes – all tags are fully reusable. After a tagged product is purchased, it can be reactivated and reattached to another item. The Tags have a battery life of up to 5 years and the battery can be replaced on the Bottle Tag and Wrap Tag.
Apply the Carrier Label to the product packaging first (to protect it), then press the Adhesive Pad onto the Carrier Label and finally attach the tag. The pad provides a tamper-resistant, strong bond.
At checkout, simply pass the tag over the Chirp Deactivator. The tag can then be removed from the product.
