The Lanyard Tag features a looped design with a detachable cable that wraps securely around items, making it ideal for protecting handbags and other apparel. Like all our tags, it triggers an alarm if taken too close to the Chirp-Edge hub – but it also includes an extra layer of protection by sounding an alarm if the cable is tampered with or disconnected.
We sell a range of compatible cable lengths to suit different requirements.
- Detachable lanyard cable: A 17cm long cable that you can disconnect to loop around a product. Other cable lengths are available to purchase.
- Tamper-proof technology: As with all Chirp-Protect tags, this tag will trigger an alarm if anyone attempts to remove it from the product, providing instant theft alerts on the shop floor. For added security, the alarm is also activated if the cable is pulled out or cut, making it even harder for thieves to defeat.
- Alarm in the tag: With Chirp-Protect it's the tag itself that alarms and will continue to alarm, even outside your store.
- Hard to bypass: Chirp-Protect tags are magnet-proof, unlike many other security tags. Any effort to tamper with or remove a tag will immediately set off an alarm.
