1. Overview

• These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the 30-day free trial ("Trial") of the Chirp-protect alarm tagging system, which includes a base hub, a selection of tags and a deactivator ("Starter Pack").
• By participating in the Trial, the customer ("Customer, as per the invoice name") agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• The Trial is available to new customers only
• Each Customer is limited to one Trial
• The maximum value of the trial pack is £2,000 plus VAT
• The Trial is non-transferable and may not be combined with other offers or promotions

3. Trial Period

• The Trial period begins on the date the Starter Pack is despatched to the Customer ("Start Date").
• The Trial period lasts for 45 consecutive calendar days ("Trial Period"), and finishes on the 45th day (“End Date”).
• The Trial period consists of 3 elements:
  
  1) Delivery and Setup - The first 7 days in which to receive the trial pack and get it installed.
  2) The Trial - A 30 day period to evaluate the product
  3) Payment - The Customer’s payment method will automatically be charged 45 days after the trial commencement date unless cancelled before this point.

4. Delivery and Setup

• The Starter Pack will be shipped to the Customer's provided address free of charge as long as the delivery address is within the United Kingdom. 
• The package must be signed for by a responsible representative of the Customer. 
• The Customer is responsible for setting up and using the Starter Pack according to the provided instructions. 
• If the Customer has purchased the installation service then within the 7 day set up period the installation service provider will contact the customer to arrange a date and time for the installation. 
• Any issues relating to delivery must be reported to Chirp-protect within 48 hours of taking delivery 
• Any incomplete, incorrect or unwanted items must be reported to Chirp-protect within the 7 day set up period.

5. Payment

• At the end of the 45 day trial period, the payment method you submitted will be charged at the full amount.

6. Cancellation

• The Customer may cancel the Trial at any time during the 45 day Trial Period, but to avoid your payment method being charged we require notice of this by day 40 following the Start Date.
• To cancel, please contact Chirp-protect customer service on 01202 925 489 or at sales@chirp-protect.com.
• Chirp-protect will arrange for Parcelforce to collect from you. Please use the original packaging to securely box up the equipment and a collection will be made and communicated to you. Collections typically take place Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm 
• The Customer is responsible for any costs associated with returning the Starter Pack if the agreed collection date is not adhered to. 
• The Customer is responsible for any damage that arises from not using the original packaging

7. Liability and Warranty

• The Starter Pack is provided on an "as-is" basis, without any warranty beyond the standard manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months.
• Chirp-protect is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the use of the Starter Pack.
• Whilst Chirp-protect is very effective at reducing shoplifting and acting as a visible deterrent against theft, Chirp-protect makes no assurances or guarantees that its products will stop every instance of shoplifting

8. Data Privacy

• Any personal information collected during the Trial will be used in accordance with Chirp-protect's Privacy Policy (https://chirp-protect.com/pages/privacy-policy)
• The Customer agrees to allow Chirp-protect to contact them regarding the Trial and potential purchase.

9. Modifications to Terms

• Chirp-protect reserves the right to modify or terminate this Trial and/or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
• Any modifications will be communicated to the Customer and will apply to the Trial ongoing at that time.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

11. Marketing & Feedback

• By participating in the trial period of our product, you agree to provide feedback regarding your experience. You further consent to the use of your name, feedback, and other related details for marketing and promotional purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, publication on our website, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. You acknowledge that this feedback may be edited for clarity or length but will remain true to the intent of your original feedback.

13. Acceptance of these terms and conditions

• By entering your payment method and submitting the free trial order, the Customer agrees to adhere to and be bound by the terms and conditions detailed within this document.
