There are two Chirp Protect devices for deactivating your tags:
Desktop Deactivator
This is our most popular deactivation device. This box is typically placed by the till and when a product protected by a Chirp tag is purchased, simply pass the tagged product over this Deactivator. Now the tag can be safely removed from the product.
Remote Control
This device is used on the shop floor and staff can point it at a Chirp tag and press the button to deactivate the tag. Please note that as a security feature, the Remote must be reactivated every 24 hours using the Remote Resetter.
Check that the Hub power cable is securely connected and switched on at the mains.
Log into your customer account at https://chirp-protect.com/account/login to place orders. You can also contact your account manager or email our sales team to reorder tags, deactivators, and other accessories.
It should be fairly intuitive to choose which tag to use on which product.
Bottle Tag
For bottles of wine, spirits and high value liquids including olive oil
Wrap Tag and Compact Tag
Both tags are ideal for boxed products and soft toys such as teddies
Lanyard Tag
Any products with a secure loop or section to fasten the cable round. Customers use this tag on anything from bottles of detergent to secateurs
Surface Tag
For use with anything with a flat surface and where the Wrap Tag or Compact Tag isnt suitable.
Yes, we offer training resources including video guides, printed user manuals, and on-site training where needed. For quick refreshers, you can also direct staff to our YouTube channel or call our support line for guidance.
