Chirp Zone Tag - Surface (Pack of 25)
The Surface Tag is designed for products with a flat side, and features a built-in pressure switch that is depressed when the tag is secured in place. Like all Chirp Protect tags, it triggers an alarm if brought too close to the Chirp Protect Hub - but with added protection: it will also alarm instantly if forcibly removed from the product, acting as a strong deterrent against tampering and theft.

The Surface Tag features a pressure switch that gets depressed when the tag is stuck to a boxed product. This tag works in the same way as our other tags in that it will alarm if taken too far away from the Chirp Zone hub, but has the added security measure that it will alarm if ripped off the product that it's protecting.
To fix these a Surface Tag to a product we sell adhesive pads.
Another useful accessory is our carrier label. This is a clear plastic label for use when you want to protect the products packaging. Simply fasten the carrier label first, and then stick the adhesive pad plus Surface Tag to the product.
- Tamper-proof technology: Built-in Pressure Sensor triggers an instant alarm if the tag is lifted or removed from the product, making it perfect for securing products with flat surfaces.
- Alarm in the tag: With Chirp Protect it's the tag itself that alarms and will continue to alarm, even outside your store.
- Hard to bypass: Chirp Protect tags are magnet-proof, unlike many other security tags. Any effort to tamper with or remove a tag will immediately set off an alarm.

Pressure Switch
The built-in pressure switch is activated when the tag is firmly secured. If the tag is forcibly removed, the switch is released and the tag instantly alarms.

Fitting
To attach the Surface Tag, simply press the Pressure Sensor to activate the Tag and then quickly fix it to the product. In most cases we recommend using our Adhesive Pads to make this nice and easy.
For more delicate packaging, we recommend using a Carrier Label as an intermediary layer. This allows you to affix both the Surface Tag and its adhesive to the Carrier Label rather than directly onto the product. When the tag is removed at the till, the Carrier Label remains on the item, significantly reducing the risk of damage to the original packaging caused by adhesive removal. It's a simple solution that protects both your stock and its presentation.
